Built on the same platform, with an equally rugged exterior and a similar interior layout, the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are incredibly similar at first glance. Of course, the closer you look the more differences—some subtle, some not so subtle—you’ll find. Both of these 3-row SUVs offer LED lighting, while inside you can choose between 2nd row captain’s seats or a bench seat, taking both models from 7 to 8 passengers in an instant. Inside, the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer both offer leather seating inside their incredibly roomy cabins, though the materials found in the Grand Wagoneer go a step above—including the beautiful American Walnut wood trim that pays homage to the wood panelling found on the exterior of the original Jeep Wagoneer. And while both models offer access to the advanced Uconnect 5 infotainment system, the Wagoneer’s standard centre touch screen and digital dash pales in comparison to the 75-inches worth of display screens found in the top trim of the Grand Wagoneer.
